NEW CASTLE, Ind. – Emilee Thackrey led the Hagerstown girls golf team on Saturday as the Tigers finished second in the New Castle Invitational.
Thackrey carded an 88, which was third best overall and the leader among the Tri-Eastern Conference competitors on the Westwood Country Club Course.
Lapel won the six-team event with a 357 as Kristen Hobbs was the medalist with a 71. New Castle’s Annie Gillock was second individually with an 87.
Brooke Killion topped Centerville with a 92, while Knightstown was led by Daisey Hoffman, who had 111.
Hagerstown returns to action on Tuesday against Wapahani and Union at Maplewood Golf Course in Muncie.
On Thursday, Centerville gets a visit from Monroe Central and Knightstown entertains Winchester.
