HAGERSTOWN, Ind. – The Hagerstown boys golf team clinched at least a share of the Tri-Eastern Conference regular season title on Tuesday as the Tigers defeated Northeastern 174-203.
Senior Ben Tinkle led the Tigers with a 38, while classmate Jonathan Clark had a 40 as the duo played their final contest at Hartley Hills Golf Course.
The other scores for the Tigers were Kyle Cochran (46), Caleb Cochran (50) and Kevin Beeson (50).
Garrett Schuler led Northeastern with a 46.
Northeastern’s other scores were Ayden Michaels (49), Bryce Cowan (51), Taylor Appledorn (57) and Ryan Wogoman (59).
Now 6-0 in the TEC, Hagerstown travels to Union County on Thursday for the Tigers regular season finale in conference action. The Tigers last won the conference in 2011.
The Knights (3-2 in the TEC) visit Winchester next Tuesday.
