MIDDLETOWN, Ind. – The Hagerstown boys golf team opened its season on Tuesday with a 168-187 victory over Shenandoah at the Tri County Golf Course.
“It wasn’t pretty but it was a start,” Hagerstown Head Coach Bill Mullin said.
Ben Tinkle took medalist honors and he shot a 35 to go one under par.
Caleb Cochran was next with a 42, while Kyle Cochran finished with a 45.
Jonathan Clark and Kevin Beeson both carded a 46.
Hagerstown faces New Castle at Hartley Hills on Wednesday.
The contest will feature two future Indiana University-East recruits with Tinkle committing to the Red Wolves recently and New Castle’s Kole Schofield signing in February.
