HAGERSTOWN, Ind. – The Hagerstown girls basketball team needed some extra time on Saturday night as the Tigers prevailed 57-55 over Eastern Hancock.
Hallie Rogers led the Tigers with 21 points in her varsity first contest, including five in the overtime.
Kassidy Oliger added 13 points, while Taylor Kelley tossed in 10 points.
Camryn Bradway finished with eight points.
Hagerstown built a 19-6 advantage after the first quarter and the Tigers were on top 31-18 by halftime.
In the third period, the Royals closed the gap to 37-30 before they rallied to tie the contest at 49-49 at the end of regulation.
The Tigers (1-0) entertain Delta on Friday.
