RICHMOND, Ind. – The Hagerstown boys basketball team held on Friday night for a 46-45 victory over Seton.
Jalen Oliver led the Tigers with 17 points and 12 rebounds in the contest at Earlham College.
Cody Swimm and Drew Pyle each finished with six points.
Branton Payne, Noah Dale and Trent Weiss contributed five points apiece.
Seton led at the end of the first quarter and at halftime before the game was tied heading into the final period.
The Cardinals were on top 43-38 midway through the fourth frame before the Tigers rallied to tie it with 1:51 to go.
Oliver scored and Payne followed with a 3-pointer to make it 43-43.
In the final moments, the Cardinals couldn’t convert with a chance to win as the Tigers won their third in a row.
Hagerstown (4-2) returns to action in the Edinburgh Tournament against Trinity Lutheran (2-5) on Tuesday, Dec. 26.
