Hagerstown’s Owen Golliher was named the Tri-Eastern Conference Player of the Year on Thursday as the post-season team was announced.
The Tigers finished the season 10-2 as Golliher led the offense.
Golliher completed 124-of-203 passes as he threw for 1,891 yards with 17 touchdowns. He also rushed for 849 yards with 16 scores.
In the sectional, he caught a 50-yard touchdown pass. Defensively, he was third on the team with 94 tackles and he added an interception.
This is the second time Golliher was named the Player of the Year in the Tri-Eastern Conference. He was honored in baseball as a sophomore in 2016.
Golliher was joined on the All-TEC Team by teammates Jalen Oliver, Blake Blevins, Ryan Golliher, Jake Combs and Mason Hicks.
Centerville had five players on the squad with Kody Witham, Nico Wankerl, Cole Cooper, Reese VanDevender and Chris Pritchett being honored.
Northeastern and Union County had four players each.
David Berger, Cole Retter, Jeremy McNew and Shane Berry were selected from the Knights, while Blake Fields, Drew Cole, Nate Webb and Ryan Hensley represented the Patriots.
Nick Wilson and Justin Greene made the team from Tri High with Trevor Thompson and Kyler Purdin from Union City.
Jevin Malkey of Winchester and Chase Hokey of Lincoln round out the team.
