UNION CITY, Ind. – Lincoln’s softball team moved on in the Class 1A Sectional 56 on Monday with an 18-3 victory over the host Indians.
The Golden Eagles will now play Union on Tuesday in the semifinals, while Tri and Randolph Southern square off in the other contest. The winners meet in Thursday’s title game.
Hannah Hall led the charge for Lincoln on Tuesday as she tossed a complete game in the six-inning affair giving up three hits with six strikeouts.
Offensively, Hall added four hits and knocked in three runs.
Sydney Miller had two hits for Lincoln as Kylee Smith and Emmie Pugh both had two RBI.
Union defeated Seton 2-1 in Monday’s other game.
