HAGERSTOWN, Ind. – Mason Hicks rushed for 202 yards and a pair of touchdowns on Friday as the Hagerstown football team defeated Union City 67-12 in Tri-Eastern Conference football action.
The Tigers led 19-6 after the first period before putting the game away by halftime as they led 39-6 at the break.
Hagerstown quarterback Owen Golliher also ran for 68 yards with two touchdowns, while completing 13-of-18 passes for 169 yards and two more scores.
Brett Burns also tossed a touchdown pass and caught another. Clay Cochran and Brandon Purtha each grabbed touchdown passes.
Cody Swimm and Frankie Bush both ran for scores, while Jalen Oliver added the other touchdown for the Tigers on a 73-yard kickoff return.
Keaton Adams, who booted six extra points, led the Tigers defensively with 10 tackles.
The Tigers (4-4, 4-2) finish the regular season at home with Lincoln (1-7, 1-5) next Friday. Union City (3-5, 2-4) entertains Northeastern (6-2, 5-1).
