Every week during the college football season Press Room Pass will highlight some of the top individual performances in college football from around the nation.
Here are some of the top efforts from week two.
Georgia Southern running back Matt Breida led the Eagles (1-1) to a 43-17 victory in their home opener over Western Michigan (0-2).
Breida averaged 16 yards per carry as he ran for 176 and four scores in 11 rushes.
Running back Dalvin Cook of Florida State had 266 yards rushing in 30 carries in the Seminoles 34-14 win over South Florida (1-1).
Cook scored three touchdowns for the Seminoles (2-0) as he had the top rushing performance in the country this week.
Luke Falk of Washington State completed 47-of-66 passes for 478 yards in a 37-34 win at Rutgers (1-1).
The quarterback found River Cracraft in the end zone for an 8-yard touchdown with 13 seconds remaining as the Cougars (1-1) won their first contest.
Bowling Green quarterback Matt Johnson threw for 491 yards and six touchdowns as the Falcons won 48-27 at Maryland (1-1).
Johnson completed 36-of-55 passes as he tossed four of the touchdowns in the final period.
Roger Lewis was Johnson’s favorite target against Maryland as he grabbed 15 passes for 200 yards.
Lewis had a pair of touchdowns for the Falcons (1-1) from 58 yards in the third period and from 27 in the fourth on the go-ahead score.
