MODOC, Ind. – Union City scored 12 runs in the first inning on Tuesday as the Indians defeated Union 20-0.
Katie Reichard led the Indians with three hits including a double and a triple.
Jodi Carpenter had two hits, while knocking in three runs.
Ellie Kerns and Cassie Martin also had two hits each.
Kahlee Dowler and Reichard combined for the shutout as they surrendered five hits.
The Indians (2-2, 1-0) entertain Tri-Eastern Conference foe Union County on Thursday.
