LYNN, Ind. – The Union City baseball team bounced back on Wednesday to post a 9-8 victory over Randolph Southern.
Union City had an early 6-0 advantage, but the Rebels went in front in the fifth with seven runs.
In the seventh, Union City scored three times with Jacob Moore knocking two runs to give the Indians the win.
Union City had 14 hits with Jacob Fulk leading the way with three, including a homer as he drove in four runs.
Nic Wells also had three hits with two stolen bases. Gabe Loesch and Cam Luster finished with two hits each.
Trevor Spence hits a home run, while Zach Bradbury and Dawson Thornburg also had hits.
Fulk worked the final 2⅔ innings and got the win as he didn’t allow a run.
Union City (8-2) plays Randolph Southern on Saturday in the Randolph County Tourney at Monroe Central.
