MODOC, Ind. – The Union City girls basketball team dropped its opener of the Randolph County Tournament to Class 2A No. 4 Monroe Central 58-38.
Mackenzie Green led the Indians with 11 points, while Kahlee Dowler added nine.
Ellie Kerns tossed in five points.
Justiss Cantu finished with four points, five rebounds, five assists and five steals.
Union City (7-10) travels to Fort Wayne Canterbury next Saturday, Jan. 13.
