UNION CITY, Ind. – The Union City baseball team posted a 16-4 Tri-Eastern Conference victory over Centerville on Thursday.
“I am very proud of how our guys looked tonight,” Union City Head Coach Bill Bradbury said in a press release. “They have been working very hard and it showed tonight. Strong at the plate. Strong on the mound. And the defense not only didn’t make any errors, we threw a couple runners out at the plate.”
Gabe Loesch had four hits with a double to led Union City as he knocked in five runs.
Zach Bradbury and Trevor Spence both hit home runs for the Indians.
Zach Bradbury, Jacob Fulk and Cameron Luster all had doubles.
Jacob Bradbury had three hits with one RBI.
Loesch also earned the pitching victory, going three innings and allowing one earned run on four hits, three walks and struck out two.
For the Bulldogs, Nolan Witte had three hits including a double.
Oran VanSkyock also had double, while Zach Montour, Brennen Kean and Chris Pritchett added hits.
