POMETO, Ind. – The Union City boys basketball team picked up a 51-47 victory at Southern Wells on Saturday night.
“We did a great job most of the night attacking and finding the open man,” Union City Head Coach Dustin Baldwin said. “Our guys stepped up and knocked shots down.”
“Defensively, we struggled early, but we were able to force some turnovers and quick shots in the second half and get a lead,” Baldwin added.
Isaac Jefferis led the Indians with 17 points and Tyler Thornhill added 16.
Union City (11-10) finishes the regular season on Friday with a trip to Tri-Eastern Conference foe Northeastern.
