FOUNTAIN CITY, Ind. – Northeastern dropped its season opener in baseball on Thursday as the Knights fell 4-3 to Muncie Central in nine innings.
Nate Fletcher had a pair of doubles, while Connor Bray also had two hits.
Colton Alexander, Cade Bray also had hits, while Quantrell Gammon had a run-scoring single. Tanner Wilson had a double.
Alexander threw four scoreless innings and struck out seven.
