FOUNTAIN CITY, Ind. – The Northeastern football team came up short on Friday night as the Knights fell 28-24 to Eastern Hancock.
Cole Retter led Northeastern with 173 yards rushing as he added a pair of touchdowns to help the Knights build a 24-6 halftime advantage.
The other score for the Knights was came from Isiah Loftis as he hit Hunter Kirkland on a 14-yard touchdown pass.
Northeastern (2-1) travels to Tri-Eastern Conference foe Hagerstown next Friday.
