FOUNTAIN CITY, Ind. – Northeastern’s girls track team finished second on Monday in a three way meet with Winchester and Union.
In the throwing events, the Knights swept the top spots. In discus, Alizah Rankin took the top spot, Madison Adams took second, and Faith Stegall took third. In shot put, Adams finished in first place with Stegall finishing close behind in second.
In long jump, Willow Runyon finished in first with a jump of 13’6″. Runyon was also on the 1600 relay team with Michaela Leavell, Ali Scott, and Emma Carr, that took the top spot.
The 400 relay team of Runyon, Scott, Leavell and Jamie Andrews finished second.
Carr won the 400 and then the 200.
The Knights compete in the Tiger Booster Invitational on Friday in Hagerstown.
