Knights Move Back to Third Spot

NortheasternNortheastern is back in the No. 3 spot as this week’s Associated Press boys basketball Class 2A poll was released on Tuesday.

The Knights (11-3) moved up even after a 77-73 home loss to Pendleton Heights.

Now No. 4, Shenandoah (13-1) dropped a spot after losing 63-57 at Eastern Hancock last week.

The Knights, who defeated Rushville 66-62 on Tuesday night, entertain Lincoln on Friday night in a Tri-Eastern Conference game in Larry Moore Gymnasium.

On Saturday, Northeastern welcomes Liberty Christian (13-3) to Fountain City. Lions are ranked No. 1 in Class 1A.
