INDIANAPOLIS – Northeastern picked up its first win of the season on Tuesday as the 12th-ranked Knights defeated Covenant Christian 47-44.
Jordan Stolle led the Knights with 12 points and four steals, while grabbing six rebounds.
Cole Mikesell finished with 11 points and Freeman Brou added eight points.
Blake Hancock had a team-high eight rebounds.
The Knights led 15-14 after one period before the contest was tied 26-26 at halftime.
After falling behind 35-33 at the end of the third, Northeastern had a 14-9 edge in the final stanza to come away with the win.
Northeastern (1-1, 0-0) visits Centerville (1-1, 0-0) for a Tri-Eastern Conference game on Friday night.
