FOUNTAIN CITY, Ind. – Northeastern won a pair of titles on Monday as the Knights were victorious over Centerville in the boys and girls JV championship games of the Wayne County Basketball Tournament.
The Knights won the girls game 40-30 and then followed with a 50-45 decision in the boys contest.
Willow Runyon led the Knights with a 18 points, while Aunika Railsback scored 12 points.
For the Bulldogs, Lexi Harmon had 14 points and Emily Tedder tossed in six.
In the boys affair, Wes Mull topped Northeastern with 21 points and Quantrell Gammon finished with 18 points.
Centerville was led by Clete Schilling with 14 points. Sam Casper added 13 points.
