UNION CITY, Ind. – Northeastern finished third at the Union City Super Six on Saturday.
Northeastern posted wins over Wapahani 41-21, Blackford 36-29 and Randolph Southern 41-30, while falling to Tri and the host Indians by the same 60-12 score.
The Knights were led by Zach Haager (195) who was 5-0 with four pins and a tech fall as he was named the tournament MVP.
Dakota Green (285) and Collin Miller (113/120) were both 4-1. Dave Berger (182) and Josh Berger (220) were each 3-2, while Elijah Crank (126) was 2-0.
Northeastern competes in the New Castle Invitational next Saturday.
