LEWISVILLE, Ind. – Cole Retter scored three touchdowns on Friday night as the Northeastern football team defeated Tri High 26-0.
Retter had 127 yards on the ground with a pair of scores, while also grabbing a 51-yard touchdown pass from Isiah Loftis, who was 2-of-5 for 65 yards.
Northeastern took control of the Tri-Eastern Conference with 20 points in first quarter.
Tri High quarterback Alex Melton was 7-of-21 for 86 yards. Masen Phelps led the Titans with two catches for 57 yards. Nick Wilson had 57 yards rushing
Defensively for the Knights, Wesley Mull returned an interception for a touchdown.
Logan Stephens led the Titans with 14 tackles
Northeastern (3-2, 2-1) entertains Centerville (4-1, 3-0) next Friday, while the Titans (3-2, 2-2) visit Hagerstown (4-1, 3-0).
