Northeastern’s Madison Kinder
UNION CITY, Ind. – The Northeastern softball team defeated Union City 23-3 in 5 innings on Tuesday in a Tri-Eastern Conference contest.
Chaise Helton had three hits and drove in six runs for the Knights, while Jesseca Burns also had three hits including a double off of the fence.
Madison Kinder went the distance for the Knights allowing four hits and an earned run.
Katie Reichard led the Indians with two hits.
Kahlee Dowler knocked in a run with a hit. Mackenzie Green had a RBI
Union City travels to Knightstown on Wednesday.
The Knights return to action at home Thursday against Hagerstown.
