INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Knightstown’s baseball season came to an end on Thursday as the Panthers fell 7-4 to Indianapolis Scecina at the Class 2A Heritage Christian Sectional.
Tyler Burton led the Panthers with two hits, while Ben Newby drove in a run.
Owen Wiles, Jose Olivo and Jack Fort also had hits for the Panthers (15-12).
Burton worked six innings on the mound with nine strikeouts.
Olivo, Kaleb Buchanan and Brock Corbett each had a stolen base.
