FAIRLAND, Ind. – Knightstown’s girls basketball season came to an end on Friday as the Panthers fell to the host Tigers in the Class 2A Triton Central Sectional.
Kaitlyn Jackson led the Panthers with 12 points as she grabbed five rebounds against the eighth-ranked Tigers (19-4)
Rena Witham added nine points, six rebounds and five steals.
Jessica Butler had six points, six rebounds and two assists.
Maggie Smith tossed in four points to go with two rebounds.
Lori Thomas finished with two points, six rebounds and five assists.
The Panthers trailed 14-12 after one period at 26-24 at halftime before the Tigers built a 41-30 advantage after three quarters.
Knightstown ended the season at 4-19.
