FOUNTAIN CITY, Ind. – Union City scored twice in the sixth inning on Tuesday to post a comeback win over Northeastern on Thursday.
Gabe Loesch had a hit and drove in two runs for the Indians in the Tri-Eastern Conference affair.
Cameron Luster pitched six innings for Union City with five strikeouts. Nick Wells worked the seventh to earn a save.
Colten Alexander tossed six innings for the Knights allowing three hits to go with eight strikeouts.
Both teams are at home on Saturday as Union City welcomes Ansonia and Northeastern gets a visit from TEC foe Centerville.
