CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. – Lincoln’s boys tennis team picked up a 4-1 non-conference victory over Franklin County on Wednesday.
The Golden Eagles swept the singles competition.
At No. 1, Seth Martin defeated Landon Bundy 6-1, 7-5; In the second position, Seth Morris won 6-3, 6-2 over Trevor Murray, while Austin Lanich beat Dillon Lewis 6-2, 6-4 at No. 3.
The teams split in doubles action with Lincoln’s win coming from Matthew Berry and Mark Cox as they beat Austin Arrasmith and Kurt Oetzel 6-0, 6-4 at No. 2.
Lincoln also won one of the two junior varsity contests as Jackson Reed and Michael Dalrymple beat Ethan Ball and Branden Snyder 8-7 (7-3).
The Golden Eagles are 6-1 overall and 1-0 in the Tri-Eastern Conference as they visit league foe Union City on Thursday.
