LEWISVILLE, Ind. – With four players in double figures on Friday night, the Lincoln boys basketball team pulled out a 58-54 overtime win at Tri.
Hunter Ferris led the Golden Eagles with 17 points in the Tri-Eastern Conference affair against the Titans (5-7, 1-1).
Garrett Pumphrey recorded a triple-double with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 15 blocks.
Caleb Craig tossed in a dozen points, while Chase Southerland added 10.
“I thought we played really hard on the defensive end,” Lincoln Head Coach Rodney Klein said. “It was a good team win.”
The Golden Eagles led at the end of each of the first three quarters until the Titans rallied to tie the contest 45-45 at the end of regulation.
Southerland finished the game for the Golden Eagles with four straight free throws to clinch the victory.
Lincoln (6-5, 1-1) travels to Union on Saturday. The Titans are at Union County next Friday for a TEC match-up.
