CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. – The Lincoln boys basketball team picked up a couple of wins on Saturday as the Golden Eagles claimed the Healthy Hoopla Tournament title.
The Golden Eagles beat Muncie Burris 63-51 in the championship contest.
Chase Southerland led Lincoln with 22 points in the title affair as teammate Garrett Pumphrey tossed in 21 points.
In the opening game of the event, Lincoln defeated Anderson Prep 68-38 to advance to the championship.
Southerland led the way for the Golden Eagles with 25 points. Hunter Ferris added 21 points.
Muncie Burris earned its spot in the finals with a 67-40 win over Christel House. In the consolation game, Christel House defeated Anderson Prep 77-73 to finish in third place.
Lincoln (2-1) returns to action with a trip to Tri-Eastern Conference foe Hagerstown on Friday, Dec. 4.
