CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. – The Lincoln boys basketball team broke open a tight contest in the second period on Friday as the Golden Eagles went on to post a 79-61 win over Seton.
Lincoln led 18-17 at the first stop before the Golden Eagles built a 37-23 lead by the intermission. After three frames Lincoln was in front 58-40.
Chase Southerland led the Golden Eagles with 26 points.
Garrett Pumphrey and Hunter Ferris both finished with 24 points.
The Golden Eagles (14-6) entertain Class 1A Oldenburg on Saturday.
