MIDDLETOWN, Ind. – The Lincoln volleyball team posted a comeback win on the road Tuesday night as the Golden Eagles defeated Shenandoah 23-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-18.
Kylei Klein led the Golden Eagles (6-1) with 15 kills and a pair of blocks. Laynie Russell added 13 kills and five aces.
Emmie Pugh contributed 10 kills to go along with 12 digs. Lauren Weston finished with four kills, three aces and 10 digs. Rachel Merida had 40 assists.
Lincoln’s junior varsity also won 25-24, 16-25, 15-14. Alyssa Vickers had seven kills, six aces, two digs for the Golden Eagles (2-1).
Kylee Smith had a dozen assists. Kami Laymon five kills and 10 digs. Lincoln is 2-1.
Lincoln travels to the Cowan Invitational on Saturday where they face Tri-Eastern Conference foe Centerville.
