RICHMOND, Ind. – Lincoln’s softball team dropped a 5-3 decision on Friday at Richmond.
Hannah Hall and Dakota Harrison led the Golden Eagles with two hits each.
Richmond scored three times in the third inning before Lincoln closed the gap in the sixth on a two-run single by Emmie Pugh.
The Red Devils picked up a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Hall hit a sacrifice fly that provided the final run of the contest in the seventh.
Lincoln (2-3) faces Northeastern in the opening round of the Wayne County Tournament on Saturday in Fountain City.
