DUBLIN, Ind. – Lincoln’s softball team picked up its first Tri-Eastern Conference victory of the season on Thursday with an 11-3 win over Knightstown.
Laynie Russell picked up the win on the mound for the Golden Eagles, while Hannah Hall finished up as the duo limited the Panthers to two hits.
Emmie Pugh hit a homer and knocked in two runs for the Golden Eagles.
Kylee Smith led the way with three hits and also drove in two runs. Jaela Patton added two hits and two RBI.
Sidney Vise had a triple for Knightstown and Makenna Leisure added a single. Leisure and Kaitlyn Jackson both had stolen bases.
