CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. – Lincoln’s girls tennis team posted a 4-1 victory over Tri on Monday.
The Golden Eagles swept the Titans in the singles contests of the Tri-Eastern Conference affair.
Jmaie Buhl won 6-2, 6-2 over Gabby O’Neil in the No. 1 position.
At No. 2, Rachel Merida defeated Addy Edwards 6-0, 6-2.
Ali Reese beat Ella Chew 6-0, 6-2 at No. 3.
Tri’s victory came at No. 1 doubles as Kylie Dishman and Alli Vandiver got past Lydia Bertsch and Kylei Klein 6-3, 6-3.
Lincoln’s No. 2 doubles team of Leslie Richardson and Kami Laymon defeated Lindsey Penvie and Alyssa Nuzzi 6-1, 6-4.
In the JV contest, Lincoln won 2-1.
The Golden Eagles (2-1, 2-1) is at Eastern Hancock on Wednesday.
