DUBLIN, Ind. – A two-run single by Madison Siggers gave the Lincoln softball team a 5-3 victory over Centerville on Friday.
Trailing 3-2 heading into the bottom of fifth, the Golden Eagles tied the game before Siggers put the Golden Eagles on top for good.
Kerrigan Neff and Hannah Hall had two hits each for the Golden Eagles.
Amanda Wilson topped Centerville with three hits, while Kaylin Smith added two hits.
Hall went the distance on the mound for Lincoln with six strikeouts as she earned the victory.
Lauren Honkomp tossed a complete game for the Bulldogs as she fanned 11.
Both teams are back in action with non-conference games on Tuesday. Lincoln (6-4, 2-0) visits Union, while Centerville (5-3, 1-2) is at Shenandoah.
