CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind. – The Lincoln girls tennis team won a tight 3-2 contest over Franklin County on Monday.
Rachel Merida won 6-4, 6-0 over Megan Routh at No. 2 singles.
The Golden Eagles swept the doubles competition.
Kylei Klein and Lydia Bertsch took care of Kelsey Ball and Lauren Klei 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1.
In the second spot, Kami Laymon and Leslie Richardson won 6-3, 6-4 over Grace Moster and Meredith Bohman.
Lincoln (5-1) makes the trip to Union County for a Tri-Eastern Conference match on Tuesday.
