A sign that the college football season is getting closer is that the annual media day events will be beginning very soon.
The Southeastern Conference is the first one on the list. The SEC is scheduled to meet near Birmingham on July 13-16 in Hoover, Ala.

Big 10, Chicago, July 30-31.
PAC-12, Burbank, Calif., July 30-31.
