Mason Melton
FARMLAND, Ind. – Winchester’s Mason Melton qualified for the boys golf regional on Monday as he finished third in Monroe Central Sectional at Hickory Hills.
Melton carded an 81 just three shots behind medalist Joseph Tempest of sectional champ Delta.
Overall, the Golden Falcons were sixth with a 384. Union City finished 11th.
Melton advances to the Muncie Central Regional, which is at the Players Club in Yorktown on Thursday at 8 a.m.
