The top performances in Major League Baseball this week were by Josh Donaldson of the Toronto Blue Jays and Dallas Keuchel of the Houston Astros.
Donaldson capped a 10-9 victory by the Blue Jays over the Chicago White Sox with a three-run walk off homer in the ninth at the Rogers Centre on Tuesday, May 26.
Donaldson also blasted a home run in the first as the third baseman collected four hits in the contest with four RBI and five runs scored.
The 29-year old Donaldson leads the American League with 39 RBI, while being in second in homers with 15. He has a .312 batting average in his first season in Toronto.
Keuchel surrendered four hits as he blanked the White Sox in Houston on Saturday, May 30.
The 27-year old lefthander threw 113 pitches and fanned 11 without walking a batter in the 3-0 victory.
This season, Keuchel leads the AL with a 1.76 ERA, while posting a 7-1 record.
