HAGERSTOWN, Ind. – Payton Moore and Kierstyn Conyers led top-ranked Tri High to a 24-0 win over Hagerstown in Tri-Eastern Conference action on Thursday.
Moore no-hit the Tigers in the five-inning contest with nine strikeouts. It was the second time this season that Moore has tossed a five-inning no-hitter. She blanked Blue River in the season opener. The senior is 9-1 with an ERA of 1.96.
Conyers had four hits including two homers to drive in nine runs to led the Titans offense that produced 18 hits.
Moore and Kaley Harrison added three hits each, while Abi Busby and Chloe Gentry contributed two hits apiece. Busby knocked in three runs.
The Titans (10-1, 2-0) are at Morristown on Saturday.
Hagerstown (0-8, 0-4) entertains Anderson on Wednesday.
