NEW CASTLE, Ind. – Northeastern’s Heather Crull is headed to the IHSAA Wrestling State Finals for the second time in her career.
Crull finished second in the 106-pound class at the IHSAA New Castle Semi-State on Saturday, Feb. 10.
The Northeastern junior was participating in her third semi-state. She was third at New Castle in 2022 as a ninth grader to reach the state meet where she dropped a match in the opening round.
Last month, Crull won the 105-pound championship at the IHSGW State Finals in Kokomo on Jan. 12, 2024. (weight classes are different in girls).
The top four finishers in each weight class advance to the state finals at the Ford Center in Evansville on Saturday, Feb. 16-17.
