FOUNTAIN CITY, Ind. – Northeastern’s second-ranked boys basketball team defeated Eastern Hancock 58-52 on Friday night.
Tyler Smith led the Knights with 17 points with Freeman Brou adding 14.
Nate Reynolds finished with a dozen as Jordan Stolle tossed in nine.
The Knights (4-0) jumped out to a 12-3 lead after the first period, but the Royals were able to fight back to close the gap to 22-20 by halftime. From that point, the Knights were able to maintain their advantage for the victory.
Northeastern travels to Shenandoah on Friday.
