FOUNTAIN CITY, Ind. – The Northeastern volleyball team defeated Union City 25-22, 23-25, 25-22, 25-19 in Tri-Eastern Conference action on Thursday.
Halea Laird led the Knights with seven kills, while Kasey Andrews had six, Ava Burns had four and Morgan Benjamin finished with three.
Alexis Middleton had 23 assists and Brianna Shepherd had 20 digs.
Benjamin led the way with seven aces and Middleton and Laird had five each.
Andrews, Laird and Burns all finished with three blocks a piece.
Northeastern competes in the Jay County Invitational on Saturday.
