FOUNTAIN CITY, Ind. – Northeastern’s girls softball team celebrated Senior Night in a perfect way on Monday as the Knights defeated Union City 11-0.
Katie Schneider threw a five-inning perfect game for the Knights in the Tri-Eastern Conference affair.
Sierra Gilmore doubled, tripled and hit her 12th home run of the season. Chaise Helton added two hits and drove in a pair runs.
Northeastern (16-5, 5-1) returns to action Tuesday at Centerville.
