The latest Class 2A boys high school basketball poll released on Wednesday has Northeastern in the No. 1 position.
The Knights play their third straight road contest at Eastern Hancock on Friday.
Indianapolis Howe, No. 1 in the last week’s poll, lost 88-72 at Indianapolis Cathedral dropping the Hornets to the third spot.
Howe’s victory this season was an 87-53 decision at home over Eastern Hancock.
The Royals (1-2) have a victory over a Tri-Eastern Conference team as they beat Centerville 50-35 in their season opener.
