A pair of Tri-Eastern Conference football players became all-stars late Tuesday night.
Centerville’s Kody Witham and Hagerstown’s Jalen Oliver were selected by the Indiana Football Coaches Association to play in the 52nd annual North-South All-Star Game on July 13.
The game is at North Central High School in Indianapolis at 7:30 p.m.
Both All-TEC players are on the South team that will be coached by Evansville Central’s Andy Owen.
Oliver is a defensive back, who led the Tigers with five interceptions last season. The Marian University recruit had six picks in his career.
A linebacker that has committed to Wabash College, Witham was a member of the Associated Press Class 2A All-State Team and was selected by the IFCA as Academic All-State.
Leading the Bulldogs with 113 tackles this season, Witham finished his career with 404.
Participants in the North-South All-Star Game come from a list of all-region choices.
Oliver and Witham were on the IFCA Region 8 Team along with Hagerstown’s Owen Golliher, Lincoln’s Chase Hokey, Knightstown’s Garrett Thomas and Tyler Burton.
