Knightstown’s Garrett Thomas
FORTVILLE, Ind. – Knightstown’s Garrett Thomas advanced to the regional after a third-place finish in the discus at the Mt. Vernon Sectional on Thursday.
Thomas, who won the Tri-Eastern Conference titles in the shot put and discus, moves on to compete in the North Central Regional next Thursday. He was eighth in the shot put.
Nick Walsh also placed in two events finishing sixth in both the high jump and long jump.
In addition to all three relay teams, the individuals to score for the Panthers were Jeff Regan (100), Lane Parker (110H) and Sam Thomas (D).
