BATESVILLE, Ind. – The Knightstown wrestling team won the Batesville Invitational on Saturday as the Panthers won five matches.
Knightstown defeated Southwestern 66-18, Scottsburg 69-12, Brown County 63-12, Shelbyville 66-15 and Batesville 76-6.
David Peck, Thomas Sollars, Kaleb Buchanan, Jon Simmons, Connor Brockman and Burias Wisner all went 5-0 for the Panthers.
The Panthers who posted 4-1 marks were Jacob Hanna, Nick Walsh, Collin Ferree, Evan Nolen, Ben Newby and Aiden Orcutt
Knightstown competes at Shenandoah next Saturday.
