FAIRLAND, Ind. – The Knightstown girls softball team advanced to the championship game of the Class 2A Triton Central Sectional on Wednesday with a 2-0 victory over Eastern Hancock.
The Panthers face the host Tigers on Thursday at 6 p.m.
Sidney Vise went the distance on the mound for Knightstown limiting the Royals to three hits with eight strikeouts.
Becca Haney led the Panthers with two hits as she knocked in a run.
Makenna Leisure added a hit with a RBI.
Lexy Goodpaster and Courtney Carlton also had hits.
