KNIGHTSTOWN, Ind. – A big fourth quarter made the difference for the Knightstown girls basketball team on Monday as the Panthers defeated South Decatur 56-41.
Knightstown led 18-11 at the first stop and then 29-21 at halftime,
South Decatur rallied to tie the contest at 32-32 by the end of the third quarter.
The Panthers scored 24 points in the final period to put the game away.
Lori Thomas led Knightstown with 16 points, 10 rebounds and three assists.
Jessica Butler finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Kaitlyn Jackson added seven points, five rebounds and four steals.
Knightstown (3-9) travel to Eastern Hancock (7-4) on Friday night.
